Quiet
For one reason or another (and damned if I know why), I seem to have fallen into one of my introspective phases again. It's not actually a bad thing, except I haven't really felt like talking much. I knew it as soon as I got to work today. Usually I like standing around and chatting with some of the other morning people, but today I kinda just wanted to get on with the display I was building without anyone bothering me.
Travis and I went to an affordable housing rally at the state house this afternoon. It was the ending event of a several day march across the state-- a group whose meetings we go to every month was involved. We weren't really sure what to expect and were kinda afraid that only a handful of people would show up, thus making the whole thing kinda eh. That was not the case though-- there were so many people packed inside the state house that we had to wait in line to get inside. All three levels were full of people from all over the state, from many different organizations. Several people spoke, but because we were a little late, we probably missed most of them. Nevertheless, it was just impressive to see how many people came out for this; the marchers also got quite a bit of press throughout the week, which could only have helped. None of the politicians made an appearance-- they were probably too busy cowering in their offices, hoping everyone would just go away. :p
I had vindaloo curry afterwards for dinner. Mmmm. EXCEPT for the mushroom I found in it! >_< style="font-style: italic;">Donnie Darko later too. I'm still sitting here like "What?" thinking about it, haha.
Well, nothing else of merit to add right now. Tomorrow I'll be at work for most of the day and then Saturday I have to begin packing my stuff. I can't believe I'm moving starting a week from today. Man.

Donnie Darko will haunt your for days now, it did that to me the first time I saw it as well. Then I had to guy buy it just so I could watch it again and try to make more sense out of it. It's a beautiful movie, to bad you didn't take the time to reflect on it while the credits were rolling ;) lol
Yeah, it's definitely on my list of movies that I need to see again. Maybe next time I'll wear my glasses so I can actually see it well, too. haha
Oh, and no restraint = no movie credit watching! ;p
