I Miss the Snappy Cookies

that they sold at this one store at UT. They came in little bags, either ginger or lemon flavored and they were SO GOOD. I've never seen them in New England and trust me, I know my supermarkets very well. :p So I guess I'm outta luck unless I head back to TN again.

Hey Travis, don't diss the Balladeer! It's actually a pretty good role in the show and he usually has a guitar, not a banjo. ;) And I totally would have known it was you just from the mention of Castro, haha.

The Assassins quiz kinda pisses me off though cuz it's apparently impossible to get anything OTHER than JWB or the Balladeer. I played around with the thing for way too long and had to choose the weirdest things to get anyone else. You have no idea how tempted I am to create my own test, haha.

Speaking of Assassins, you should ALL know what tomorrow is! Or what happened in *1881* on July 2nd. :p I'll give you two hints: Jonathan and Johnny Cash. I really can't give a bigger hint without completely giving it away.

Speaking of tomorrow, I guess I *am* going to the stripper's BBQ, but I'll probably be driving myself there so I can split after getting some food. That's in the early afternoon though, so I'll be free all night and there is a big chance I'll be heading to the Wakefield Starbucks tomorrow. And if not then, definitely later in the week. Jen emailed me back, and we're probably hanging out on Tuesday, but I have no idea where or doing what yet.

Yesterday my Mom and I headed to P-Place, which turned out to be a productive trip. As expected, stuff in the expensive stores fit me well. >;p I got a striped polo-shirt type thing, a plain black tank top from Express and another sparkly headband because I am an addict. I didn't get a dessert chocolat from Godiva cuz of all the crap I binged on the night before.
My Mom and I got along pretty well most of the time, which was mildly surprising. We got in a small pseudo-argument over sizes (I always estimated a size too big, and even though she would try to steer me towards a smaller size, I wouldn't believe her but she was usually right :p) and then in Bed, Bath and Beyond when looking at stuff for my bathroom in the condo. She's told me that *I* can pick out the accessories for my bathroom-- the soap dispenser, trash can, etc. So whenever I'd see something I liked, she'd complain how it wouldn't "go" with the colors that the walls and floor are going to be. I do NOT pay attention to stuff like that, so I hardly see why it matters (or who else but her is going to care) but it's pretty obvious that she'll be the one who ends up picking the stuff out anyway. Oi.

Rich, his father, his brothers and I went to see the War of the Worlds last night. Despite Tom Cruise's real life weirdenesses (heh), the movie itself was pretty good. I say "pretty good" because the last 20 minutes or so kinda killed the whole thing, but it was interesting til that point.

Rich recently started his own blog: vtcowboy.blogspot.com
We'll see how long this lasts. ;) I've told him he should do movie reviews since he's a definite movie buff, so we'll see what happens. Hell, maybe he'll even drop *me* a comment or two now that he can actually sign in (hehe).

I forgot to ask Chris about getting a ride to Newport on Sunday, but I'm leaning towards not going anyway. I'm bound to be quite tired-- especially since I'll be working 1-9 that day. And we *would be* going to a bar, but since I'd need to drive myself home afterwards, I couldn't have more than 1 drink anyway (yeah, my tolerance has gone WAY down, haha). What fun is that? hehe

Okay, I guess that about covers it. I'll be online most of tonight, so IM me if you're bored. ^__^
